Distant Child is built around waiting patiently. A parent makes a turn (a drawing, a message, a small game), and it sits there until the child is ready, however long that takes. The other direction works the same way. Built first for one specific father and daughter separated by distance and a difficult co parenting situation, then designed cleanly enough to serve other separated families later. React Native (Expo), iPhone and iPad only, no web.
